The Velez Adventure Smock has excellent ventilation, a fully adjustable hood and practical pocketing.

• Temperature regulation when working hard is provided by two-way twin front zips with inner, poppered baffles for maximum venting even on the move, and upper arm vents.
• Field of vision and extra weather protection is assured by the fully adjustable, stowable ‘halo’ hood with wired peak.
• Secure pocketing allows for storage of OS maps, compass and valuables, and handwarming when needed.

It is essential to avoid a build-up of water in your clothing system when you are working hard, as too much retained moisture will lead to your body rapidly chilling when you stop and rest.

An overlayer allows you to benefit from the 100g synthetic fill, even in wet weather, without needing to remove any garments. The clever design ensures minimal space while in a pack yet delivers a high warmth to weight ratio when worn.

The Torres Medio Gilet can be worn over a baselayer or an outer layer to warm you quickly. It packs down small and has zipped pockets for secure storage.

Nikwax Analogy Insulator’s synthetic fill provides very effective warming even in wet conditions.

The Insulator combines Nikwax Windproof closely woven microfibre outer with a synthetic, water-resistant fill to cut windchill and provide excellent insulation for overlayering with other Nikwax fabrics. It retains body heat very effectively to warm the body quickly and deflects the rain while providing excellent moisture vapour transfer. It packs down small, giving a high warmth to weight ratio. The fill gives a down-like feel and performance with the benefit of still working well when wet. It can be compressed in a pack without damage and washed in a home washing machine.

From Autumn 2020, all our synthetic fill features 100% recycled content.

A new concept in active insulation, the OMM Core Range is made entirely from PrimaLoft® ACTIVE ultra-light insulating fabric. Built from a synthetic plume woven through a knitted mesh, Core offers the warmth of a fleece but at less-than half the weight. Paired with a shell, the Core is an incredibly effective insulator but thanks to near-total air permeability, the lightest breeze can take away that heat. This allows you to keep your Core layer on even when you have warmed up and you can thermoregulate by removing/unzipping your shell (eg. Sonic windproof at 49g). A true valley to summit piece. 3/4 length stretch tight. With a mesh map/gel pocket on the thigh. Flatlock seams reduce friction or irritation so you have as comfortable a run as possible.

Mesh panels behind the knees provide great ventilation to keep your legs cool and dry when working up a sweat. 4-way stretch material provides brilliant durability and flexibility that lets your body move without restriction. 

Stretch Polyamide (18% Lycra) yarn fabric is high-wicking though not cool-to-feel which can be a discomfort with some close fitting, high Lycra content leggings. Grip strips prevent the legs riding up when high stepping over tusocks and bogs.

The 3/4 length is a great option for those in-between days.
