PRODUCT DETAILS

The memory-foam pad allows you to target pressure on the plantar fascia.  By putting pressure in this area of the foot it relieves the pain associated with plantar fasciitis.

We’ve included 3 levels of pad so that you can adjust the pressure you need.  Level 1 is soft,  Level 2 is Medium and Level 3 is Firm.

We recommend that you start with Level 2 and as you recover switch to level 1.  If you require more compression use Level 3.

WEAR INSTRUCTIONS: Wrap support around foot (under or over sock).  Adjust tension to requirements and secure with Velcro.  To change pads: carefully pull out flap and slide out foam insert.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The Ultimate Performance Elastic Calf Compression sleeve provides compressive support to weak or injured calf muscles. We recommend it for recovering from calf muscle strains and shin splints type injuries. Made of high quality elastic means it is breathable, making it ideal for wearing throughout the day.

What is the Elastic Calf Compression Sleeve suitable for?

We recommend the elastic calf sleeve for any shin or calf related injury, in particular, calf strains and shin splints.

Calf strains

It is ideal for recovering from calf strains, both immediatley following injury as well as later during the rehabilitation process. Compression helps reduce pain and swelling, as well as supporting the muscle and reducing pain. This makes an elastic calf compression sleeve ideal.

Later as you return to running it supports the muscle, allowing you to gradually return to full fitness. Additionally, if you have a weakness it helps mitigate the risk of injury while you strengthen up the muscles.

Shin splints

The most common type of shin splints pain is pain on the lower, inside of the shin. Wearing an elastic calf compression sleeve keeps the area warm and supports the muscles which attach to the sore area. As a result, it reduces shin pain and supports the surrounding muscles.

Although thinner than neoprene the compressive design of the support offers a high level of support. It is ideal for those who are allergic to, dislike the bulk and/or heat generation of neoprene and latex.
