It's an updated version of Montane's Minimus Lite Jacket, a lightweight, waterproof shell jacket designed for various fast-paced missions, whether trail running, fast packing, or ultra-running in wet weather. Now updated with a thicker fabric construction and run-centric design, it's soft and comfortable to wear while also being highly protective and breathable, allowing you to push the pace, whatever the weather.
The Minimus Lite is built from a 2.5-layer Pertex® Shield, which is a highly breathable, waterproof fabric designed for fast-paced mountain adventures when reliable protection, weight and breathability are key. This 2.5-layer construction combines a robust 40D nylon face fabric and a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane with a grey protective backer. The face fabric is finished with a PFC-Free DWR (durable water repellent) coating to encourage rain to bead off the trousers instead of soaking in, without the use of harmful forever chemicals.
Pertex® Shield delivers a hydrostatic head rating of 20,000mm and a breathability MVTR score of 20,000 g/m2/24hrs, meaning it offers excellent waterproof protection and breathability, making it suitable for various outdoor activities.
